Hi everyone!

I'm contemplating getting the Crack DAT Reading for RC but I don't know whether it's just good practice or does it actually represent well the actual DAT? Pros and cons?

Any comments on Topscore/Achiever's RC Practice is MUCH appreciated as well!

Thanks!!

For some reason Topscore's RC is ridiculously hard to me. I am used to the info that I'm being asked of existing in the passage. Topscore just lets you assume I guess, the passage on sinusitis is awful. Pretty sure you know what I'm referring to. I was totally dumb-founded when I read that and tried to answer the questions lol.

I actually think topscore is good.

CDR wasn't so representative on its theme/intent type questions but the detail questions are great practice. It also kind of lulls you into a rhythm of sorts because the order of the types of questions are the same in every passage.

Achiever is the best practice for the hard passages like piano and such, and I think Kaplan is best for the easy stuff (detail questions).

I am using CDR currently. It doesn't have science related questions. It has mostly all of the question as tone/opinion based. I think it is helping me as I don't consider myself a fast reader but its just a practice for me.
There are other people using the software if you want to get their input.
