hi guys i took 2 practice test from crack the dat reading and i got 16 and 17 do u thinki will get lower on real dat or i will get around this score ?

I have only two suggestions for you. First, try doing some RC reading tests from other sources, topscore perhaps (there are 3 in there)? Second, if you haven't already, researching some of the RC strategies on this forum such as search and destroy or VicViper's modified method, these may prove fruitful for you when re-trying a test or doing some others.

Since I have never used CDR, I can't say how much it stacks up against the actual DAT. This is another thing you might try searching this forum for to see what other people thought (gotta be more proactive if you don't get enough compelling replies here).

I wouldn't worry too much. I used Crack DAT Reading as well. I was scoring right around 17 on most of them and I got a 22 on the reading section of the real thing. I thought the passages were easier overall on the real test (except for test 1 on CDR...I remember that one being exceptionally easy), and I found it MUCH EASIER to search and destroy on the real test. I recall there being too many tone/inference/interpretation type questions in CDR.
That being said, I still thought CDR was a good way to prepare. It will help you get your timing down, and like anything, the more you practice the more comfortable with it you will become. Hope that helps.

thank u for your help , actually i dont use s/d method because iam not good at finding words at all i just read all the passage and then answer questions do u think i will able to do same thing on DAT as well ?
