cell phones near/getting to Stanford

Hi,

I was wondering what cell carriers people have near Stanford especially people living in Menlo Park area - are any particularly good/should stay away from?

Also, would it be easier to get there via public transportation from the airport in Oakland or San Jose, and what would the best way be.

at&t and verizon are good.. cingular is bad

hi there,

cingular and Tmobile excellent service, can't comment on anything else.
From Oakland it will be a messy connection, San Jose or San Fran (this will be the best choice) Caltrain, and then you have to get on a bus (don;t know which one). Check online for bus maps and schedules
