Hi all,

In Chad's Bio quizzes, he gives the following numbers as "new" numbers:

each NADH--> 2.5 ATP (instead of the "old" 3 ATP)

each FADH2--> 1.5 ATP (instead of the "old" 2 ATP)

Is this a nationally known change? I am pretty sure my other study materials have the "old" numbers. Which is correct and which does the DAT use?

Thanks a bunch.
Megan

Historically, I do not think the DAT asks those types of "how many ATP produced per...." questions. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that if they do happen to ask you an ATP yielding question, there won't be both the answer assuming 2.5/1.5 per NADH/FADH2 and the answer assuming 3/2 per NADH/FADH2
