Hey all,

I'm just trying to get a sense of what you guys are putting down? Most applications ask for your home number as well as your secondary number.

I'm rarely home and so that home phone is simply for my DSL service.

Just wondering!

I don't even have a land line. I'm putting my cell phone for practically everything.

I'd say it doesnt matter what you put.....just be sure to answer the dang thing when it rings👍

remember to make sure your voice mail message is professional!

Oh man, you make a good point! HAHA Thanks for the reminder!

I used my cell because its always with me. Use the most convenient, unless you know you're changing carriers and your number may change.

I used my cell too. I have caller ID on my cell, so I knew what school was calling before I answered. Pretty cool feeling to know that you've been accepted just by seeing your caller ID. Pick up the phone and say "yeah, I'm so in. And how are you today?"

Could backfire when they say "just calling to update your address."

For most people, I would put cell primary and home secondary. When they call, you want to be able to answer. Missed calls or voicemails on your home phone will frustrate you.

but wont they leave a voicemail on the house phone, stating that you are IN???????

If you are always available on your cell phone, list your cell. But as it has been mentioned, make sure your voicemail message is professional.
