Ok, so I met with my academic advisor just for some revisions to my ed. Plan. I told him I plan on applying to dental school in the next couple years and he said that I should change my major from Bio sciences(BA) to cellular molecular biology. He claims that schools like seeing that degree instead of bio sciences? Has anyone else been told this and been successful applying to dental school? Any feedback is great thanks!

Is your degree a bachelor of art?
Regardless, the general consensus is that your major does not matter. The grade you receive in your courses (esp the pre-reqs) is significantly more important.
