Hi everyone, I will be getting my certificate in Human Rights along with my bachelors in Biology. I will officially have my certificate listen on my transcripts by may of 2016 and that is when all my classes will be completed. I was wondering if i can list my "to-be-certificate" under awards, honors, and scholarships. I noticed that i can list 2016 as the year it will be received. Would this be ok?

I've been wondering the same thing too. I guess it doesn't hurt, but should you? It would show up on your transcript anyways.

I would list it if you have the space for it.. just in case it doesn't show up on your transcript til next spring! It can't hurt. The other option would be to put it as an "academic enrichment". Then you can list the date you started working towards it, and say that it is still in progress. I am in a certificate program right now and that's what I did. That way it didn't take up space under the awards section.
