So certiphi gives you 7 previous address spaces and i used up all 6 to account for all my moves in my life time. is it okay to lump my four different addresses (dorms) from during my college days as 1 address or should i list out all four college addresses and forgo some of my earlier addresses e.g. from when i was a child? haha...

Ah okay, perfect thank you 🙂

By the way, I keep seeing the $150 amount floating around - I wasn't asked to pay this amount at any point. What is this for and I still get to see a copy of my results and have 10 days to file any disputes?

I believe you have to pay if you want to secure your own background check prior to being accepted to a school (or prior to receiving the email from Certiphi once you've been accepted). But as far as know, you don't have to pay anything once you get accepted and receive the email request.

We were responsible for the cost of the required Certiphi background check, at least at my school. They emailed us saying to have it done and results sent to them by a certain date. The cost was like $40 if I remember correctly.

Oh, really? I did not know that. Sorry, OP, I stand corrected!

Update: just completed my Certiphi check and didn't have to pay anything! Perhaps their policies have changed?
