So, I'm only applying to DO. I have a ton of volunteer hours and a LOR from a DO. Plus, my major is Spanish so I'm bilingual.

Cumulative GPA: 3.66
Science GPA: 3.42
MCAT: 1st try- 10V, 7P, 6B, P. So 23P 🙁
2nd try (applying score)- 11V, 6P 🙂mad🙂, 9B, M. so 26M

Chances?????

A 6 in the P sections going to hurt. Check out DO schools and see if you aren't going to conflict with their automatic cut offs.

Excellent chance....Apply to at least 15+ schools. However, that 6 in PS will hurt your chance at some schools that screen for a minimum of 7 on every section in the MCAT.

I don't have much advice for you, but just wanted to say you are like my twin! I got the exact same MCAT score as you, except slightly higher on the writing section, and my major is also Spanish! weird. Good luck! If it helps at all I just got an interview with that MCAT at an MD state school, so I think you may have a shot at DO. Can't help too much though, since I posted this exact same question like 4 days ago 🙂. I know some DO schools have minimum section cutoffs, so just apply to a bunch and I think you will be able to get in somewhere.

Thanks! Yeah, I called a lot of schools and they all say that they prefer scores over 8 in every section, however, they will accept a 6. I 4.0d my second semester of physics and 3.5d both semesters of inorganic if that helps...
