cGPA/sGPA is 3.4/3.6, but 2 non-science course grades were Ds and 2 non-science courses were Cs. How

The 3.4 cGPA is a much bigger concern for you than a few outlying low grades, big hurdle unless you have some mitigating factors working for you in other areas (MCAT, race, state, etc)

I have 3.4/3.2 - 14 interviews; 2 acceptances so far

Establish an upward trend and do well on the MCAT.

Great timing, an in-person example of mitigating factors! Top 3% MCAT, a year of perfect GPA at the end of college, state with 3 accessible public schools, thousands of hours of research work experience, etc

Be this person!

You have really done well despite the GPAs. What else made your application stronger (e.g., how many hours of volunteerism/EC?)? Also, are you an ORM?

EDIT: I noticed that you went to Harvard, I guess that helped a lot. Also, I noticed you were debating between a DO/MD in one of the threads, where are you planning to go?

Lots of full time work, lots of research, upward trend in grades, very good MCAT.

Ultimately decided to only apply MD.
