Have you guys learned these yet? Ive never came across a practice problem where they put in an exception and tried to trick me and I doubt the real DAT will use these. Has anyone seen it on the real DAT? Maybe I'm wrong.

ex. periodic trends, electron configuration

yeah I know its important but Im asking about the outliers. He points out like 4 exceptions to the trends and I I've never encountered them on a practice exam so Im wondering if I need to learn them.

i would know them. the tricky questions like that is a difference between a 24 and a 30

Which ones are you talking about?

I don't know exactly but it's his first 2 chapters of gen chem. Like boron I think is one with electron configuration

Oh with the nitrogen

B

Mn

Something about the electron configuration, right?

Is this important for the DAT?

Well I would def know all of them because what about if it pops in a tricky question? Thats an easy point right there! Bc you know one of them is an exception.

People who took the DAT claims Chad is the man and in a breakdown I read before, the guy said we should know every word that comes out of Chads mouth :/

Yeah tooth knockin, that's what I was talking about. I doubt it will show up but mine as well look over it once
