Hey Guys,

I was just wondering how to number the chairs on the two different types of conformations. Where would I start numbering on each chair and I think I would continue numbering clockwise, am I right?

It doesn't matter if there aren't any substituents. Not sure what you're looking for.

Yea, it doesn't matter where you start numbering. just make sure that all your substituents are in the correct configuration (equatorial or axial). I like to start on the right hand corner and number clockwise.
