Chairman's Letter REQUIRED at which programs?

Nobody knows? I presume you all just applied without checking the LOR requirements?
The only program I applied to that requires a charman's letter is Wake Forest. They would like one from the anesthesia chairman, one from a surgery attending, and one from an internal medicine attending. It may just be recommended, but I'm going to play it safe and do it this way. Hope this helps.

looking at wake forest's website, it seems to me that's what they recommend as the ideal rather than being an absolute requirement.
I really think that was just an example set of letters...I have an anesthesia chair letter, and anesthesia attending letter and an IM attending letter and I'm fine with those...then again...Wake Forest hasn't invited me for an interview yet either 🙂 I'm a gambling kinda gal and I'm just rollin' the dice on this one
You didn't find any. I never found any either, last year. Or, if there were some, I never knew about it. And, yes, I applied without looking up the requirements for every single program.

Thanks for the response guys. So far, I have yet to find a program that absolutley requires one. Thank goodness- I would hate to go suck up to the chair who doesn't interact with students...
