Does anyone know what brand chalk and instrument I will use to carve the chalk during interviews? I've searched the forums, so far I got Exacto knife. I'm not sure about the brand, type, or size chalk.

None in this country.

At LSU they make you use a buffalo #7 knife during the chalk carving portion of the interview.

If you are applying to LSU, you use a buffalo knife, alpha chalk 3x size (white or yellow, in the interview its white), a pencil, and a flimsy ruler marked by inches. hope this helps!

is this true? I thought they dont do chalk carving anymore in the US? How do you prepare for that?

The only school I know of that uses the chalk carving is LSU. My question is how do you even begin to prepare for this since, the majority of schools do not use this any longer. (Am applying to LSU for 2008 cycle.) I have heard the Canadian DAT's have it and perhaps that's one way to go?? :scared:
