The prompt is "Describe a significant challenge that has prepared you for the MD career path". Would something like this work?
The scribe who was supposed to train me left early because they were sick. A full day of patients remained. I was barely trained, but the physician asked if I felt comfortable continuing. Instead of backing away, I gave it a shot — made mistakes but improved by the hour, eventually earning praise for being composed under pressure.

personally, that’s more of a “describe a tough situation and what you did to get through it”. i’m not saying it can’t work, but i think that question aims at getting an answer with more substantial meaning to your life or path as a whole. think hardship or challenge that spanned a “long” time period (weeks to years) that you managed to get through successfully, whether by just hanging in there or by innovation.
