hi! im working on my challenge essay right now, but i honestly feel like i have not gone through any big hardships compared to some other people. i was originally writing about immersing myself in a college club sport that i was terrible at and learning how to use my discomfort to push myself and improve my physical health (submitted that to one school asking about a tricky situation), but im just worried they won't consider any of my challenges significant enough. i already talked about my parents divorce and custody battle in my primary and dont want to waste space rehashing that. kinda feeling imposter syndrome (and also super grateful of course). just don't want to sound stupid

The prompt is not asking for a trauma you experienced. If you want to talk about trying to play well for your club sport team, that would be fine but I would define a specific goal. Any situation you had to manage would work (including employment).

Is it still acceptable to use a more longitudinal adversity type situation from middle school to high school? It was a formative part of my adolescence, and I certaintly had to manage/overcome it through conscious efforts. Just concerned as it is not a "specific" situation.
