I think your list is a bit too long... Your DAT score is very good!! Same with your GPA and ECs. I think you are one of the most competitive applicants this cycle!

Here are some schools which you could take off your list:

USC (Very OOS competitive and expensive AF)

UCSF (I think it's pretty competitive for OOS and expensive as well... You already have UCLA, so I don't think you need to apply to UCSF)

UI at Chicago (You could possibly get a more competent education elsewhere)

BU (Very expensive!)

NYU (Very expensive)

You don't need to take my thoughts into account, but that is what I would do. You should probably still take off a number of schools from your list. Narrow your list down to 10-12 to save money. You are a very competitive applicant and don't think you need to apply to the 19 schools you've listed 😉

Pitt, Temple and Penn should surely be at the top of your list since you're in-state 😉

Thank you!!!
Do you think I have a shot at UNC? I know they are very competitive!

For OOS students, UNC's dat average is about 1 point higher than the averages of IS students. For the last class, OOS students averaged about a 22 AA and TS. Your scores are more than enough to get you an interview as long as your PS and EC's are in line. From there is just comes down to the interview.

I can't quite make sense of the school list...how did you make those choices? Where do you actually want to go?You probably won't want to fly around the country to interview at all these places next fall.

Is there a specific reason you put UNC in your list?

Prob should add some Irish and Australian schools to that list while your gonna spend all that money, might as well get some exotic trips out of it. But should prob check your stats against them first.

my fiancé and I are trying to match programs. He is applying to PhD schools. That's why I'm applying everywhere

Not to hate or anything, but I don't understand. Is OP being sarcastic, bragging, or does she want us to tell her how good she is?

Whatever.

Nice stats! You definitely have a chance at UNC. Also Great school choice imo!

I see...that makes sense. Well, you could get in any of these schools as long as the rest of your application is in order.

I am applying this cycle too and I am also nervous! I understand, we can all use some encouragement.

Your application is really great! You shouldn't have any issues going where you want to go. Best of luck!

Just apply to places that you would actually want to go to. you will get in, don't waste money on schools you wouldn't want to go to. Have 2 "safety" schools max

This doesn't really apply to her if her main choosing point is simply going to a school that both her and her fiance get into.

You might need to take a gap year to get that gpa up. If you do decide to apply this cycle, make sure you have a strong personal statement and letters of rec to make up for it.

She needs to get her GPA up? Are you being sarcastic? Her GPA is already high enough.

I just think you have too many dental schools listed, you could shorten the list to ten. You have a pretty good chance of getting accepted to any/all of them. Have you did any research or involved in any clubs?

I think I have shortened down my list to 14... Still working on that...
To answer your question, yes I have been in a neuroscience lab for past 3 years, has a publication on Cell and I am in a college ambassador lab.

I'm sorry but you got like top stats, CRAZY amount of shadowing, excellent GPA and 24 AA, and you're applying to a ton of schools. I don't know whether to take this post seriously or not. Unless you suck at interviewing you're pretty much set.
