Chances, 3rd time applying

GPA: 3.41 (previous cycles: 3.22, 3.4)
SGPA: 3.36 (previous: 3.15, 3.33)
BCP: 3.38 (previous:3.18, 3.36)

GPA in my last 74 units is a 3.62 with 48 of those units being classes like biochem, o chem 2 lab, and just a bunch of upper division biology classes like animal behavior, endocrinology, anatomy, physiology and many more.

SGPA/BCP in last 28 units is a 3.925, 3.74 in my last 36 units, 3.62 in the last 48 units.

DAT: 20 AA, 20 TS, 20 PAT, 22 OC, 22 RC, 20 Bio, 19 GC, 19 QR
(previous attempts were like a 17, 17, 17, and a 18 17 16 or around there don't remember exact numbers)

Retook the DAT for a 3rd and final time late last october.

Interviewed at NYU, Temple and USC (still on the wait list at all 3) after december for all 3. Just have been working full time and volunteering plus shadowing since last year.

Also took a 4 unit biology class this spring and received an A

I think you have a great chance. In fact I think you may get off one of the wait lists. Make sure you continue to express interest at NYU. They have 360 seats this year and If I heard correctly most of the movement is suppose to occur here in June. Your list of schools looks solid as well. GL

Definitely call NYU and express your interest frequently.. I was on the waitlist as well, with lower GPA and similar DAT and I pestered every two weeks or so. Finally got accepted on May 10th.

I have been expressing interest every 2-3 weeks since I was wait listed at NYU.

Also, for my school list, I am from California if that changes which schools to apply to or not to apply to.

Keep on expressing interest! Good list of schools in general! Applying early and having those DAT scores in hands is gonna make all the difference.

OHSU is friendly to states in WICHE, california included.

How does one "express interest" in a school? The only thing I know is you call the admissions office. Then what?
