So I am aware that the application opens up next week but I am kind of having a panic attack and would like some oppinions please!

My overall gpa is about a 3.35 and sgpa is about a 3.2. I had a pretty rough freshman year but my grades have definitely shown an upward trend and since my freshman year I have taken 18-20 credits a semester and summer school every summer. I have all my LORs set up and ready to go, I have a lot of community service, attended SMDEP last summer, and so on.... I am a dietetics and a human nutrition major at the University of Wyoming.

I am just wondering if it would be smart to apply this cycle? (although at this point I feel as if there is no turning back) I take my DAT in early July as well and am hoping for AA 19-20 ish.

A few schools I am planning on applying to:
Creighton
ASDOH
Midwestern AZ
Midwestern Illinios
UNLV
Loma Linda
Louisville

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys 🙂

Since you've decided to apply, there are only 2 things you can do right now to best improve your odds (one is very obvious):
1) study hard, the better the DAT = the better your odds (duh)
2) increase the number of schools your applying to. Use this here, I'd aim at 15+

About Loma Linda
Are you SDA?
Because they really prefer Seventh day adventist (Almost 70% of the class)
So non SDA have a lower chance of getting in

I am not SDA but a dentist I work for just graduated from there and suggested that I apply.

I guess I should also mention that Wyoming has a partnership with Creighton and the University of Nebraska that each school takes 4 students from Wyoming under a contract. And that Wyoming is also included in WICHE.

Do you have a LOR from a religious leader? If not, you should start working on that.

Also consider applying to Western, UOP, and NYU.

I agree with the others, if you're not an SDA, then don't bother apply because you'll just be giving them free money. The only way you'll get in is with really good stats.

Your stats are pretty low and you have no DAT score yet, so I'm going to say your chances are low. Wait until you take your DAT so that people can give feedback that has basis.
