I just wanted to know if someone had a similar situation or know someone with similar situation.
I have a 2.8 science gpa with overall 3.1 gpa, its not a uphill trend (more up-down 3.0, but struggled really badly with upper level classes biochem and physiology mostly 2.0). I am struggling to get a 30 on mcat, making improvement but not enough. I am really worried because i struggled in these upper level classes such as biochem, physiology, hematology, genetics, then i will struggled when i get to Caribbean. so i wanted to know if someone had similar situation and if they are doing well. (and no i still have not figured out why i struggled so much)
2. I have family members who are doctors, they are telling my parents get her into any carribean school as soon as possible, they said we have to get into any school in the carribean because my gpa i won't be able to get into st george or ross because otherwise i would be able to get into DO school. i just wanted to know those who are there what do you think about that (because one of the girls in the family went to AUC or saba i think and got 89% on her step 1 so i keep getting reminded of how she did it).
i am not going to make life decision but i just wanted to know if someone who is there or went there. (there is another option, i emailed one of the medical school but that will take a long time but no guarantee it will successful, its not smp)
