Hello all,

I want to apply for an MD program for next year. Here's a bit more about me

Year in school: Graduated in December 2017: Major: Chemistry, Minor: Biology, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa

ORM- Korean

Country/state of residence: NJ

Schools to which you are applying: Need a bit of recommendation from you people

Cumulative GPA: 3.91

Science GPA: 3.92

MCAT Scores: 516 (129/128/130/129)

Research – One publication, One college research conference, one grant, 750 hrs (all at a neuroscience lab) - Interned at a Neurology Research Dept (100hrs)

Volunteering (clinical) – At a U.S. urban hospital and overseas at clinics (450 hrs in total)

Physician shadowing – 30hrs (neurosurgery, cardiology, ortho)

Non-clinical volunteering- American Red Cross (~200+hrs)

Extracurricular activities- Harp player, Science Tutor, Chinese tutor (not sure about hours, but have been doing the music thing for several years, and the teaching for the last 2 years)

Immediate family members in medicine? (yes)

Specialty of interest: psych, neuro, radiology, anesthesiology

Shadowing experience: yes

Graduate degrees: no

Interest in rural health no

Which schools should I apply to next year?
