What is one's chances at the new schools that recently opened?
Such as:
Texas Tech, Central Florida, Commonwealth, Virginia Tech, etc...
If one has lower than average stats, are his/her chances good at these new schools (if he/she lives in NJ)? What's the situation exactly?
Thanks

Without any public information available as to how these schools have made decisions (ie, in the MSAR), there's really no way of knowing how they'll behave. Give it a shot - maybe they'll be easier than others, maybe they won't. We'll be able to start drawing inferences next year...

ucf is a public school so the majority of the class will be florida residents. also, the first class only has 40 students. and from what i understand, there will not be a dramatic increase in class size. and since its new, there are no average gpa/mcat yet but from what i hear it is supposed to be quite competetive.

The 2nd class after this year's charter class will be 60 students. Hopefully you're a FL resident.
