Ok so basically I've come to the realization that I've applied too late to get into my top choices. My app reached all my schools at the end of November and my top choice UOP has already notified me that there are no more interview slots available.

I picked NYU as one of my backups but now it seems like its one of my only choices. I'm hopeful that I can still get in but have heard nothing. Does anyone know when the interviews are currently filled till? When should I expect and interview?

Also would I be on a waitlist if accepted even though the class is so large? Thanks.

don't give up yet, december is not even over yet!! the people on SDN are not necessarily representative of the entire applicant pool. there are still a lot of people who haven't heard anything (maybe not many on HERE), and i'm sure not all classes are full. UOP is one of the few that send out enough on dec 1 to potentially fill 100% (i think case does too?)
anyway, i'm not sure abt nyu, but i wouldn't just assume it's one of your only choices!!

Yeah, don't give up yet. It's still early, more interviews will be conducted after new year.

I agree, don't give up yet! Last year my app reached schools in JANUARY, and I interviewed at NYU in Feb., and was accepted at the end of March. Of course, waitlists were my only option everywhere else that late, but who knows what can happen.
