Hey everyone!

I was hoping you could all give me some input!

My stats are 26 MCAT, 3.8 science and cumulative GPA.

ECs:
100 hours of hospital volunteering
500 hours of volunteer tutoring
400 hours of research (1 publication on the way)
800 hours of service trip work
100 hours of shadowing
500 hours working as a pharmacy technician

This fall I will be working as a supplemental instruction leader, continuing to shadow and volunteer, and work as a board member on a new club at my school.

Saint Louis University is by far my top choice, and I would love to know any chances you think I have there?

That 26 is pretty low for most any MD school. Have you checked SLU in the MSAR and seen how your MCAT compares to their various percentages?

With a 26? Not good. Also FYIY Adcoms are generally not at all impressed by service trip work. You also may run into trouble for having so many hours as a pharmacy technician (why not pharm?).

I was a leader on two of the trips so it's also a leadership experience. I honestly worked in a pharmacy, because I was offered a job and I needed to pay my way through school. Its not clinical experience but it is work.

Ok then make sure you emphasize the leadership part of it. And I am aware it is just a job. But I'm warning you that you will be questioned about it.
