Good GPA, but where is your experience working as a dentist? Are you a resident of US? Universities like practical experience
Pass part 2 to have better chances

No i am not a US resident, i completed BDS in 2013 and did 1 year of internship .(total 5 years in dental college)

Not much experience, so mention your internship and definitely take part 2

I have all of the above, minus the drive. Experience is important, but just the right amount to show, that you are able to practice and understand what is involved. Good that you have american experience, try to get reference letter from the american dentist

Whats the drive?
I have two references from 2 different american dentists...I have worked for 4 months as a dental assistant in US.
I also have basic life support certificate..from american red cross

Drive is the desire to achieve something.
You need to emphasize the academic achievements rather then experience, because as I understood, you are not able to work as a dentist. You will have more chances if you have part 2 passed. Some schools only require part 1, but chances to be called for the interview will be higher with part 2

Have you applied previously? Are you from India?

Thank you for your advice..I am planning for part 2.. after toefl..It will take 4 months atleast to prepare for part 2...

I am not from India. I have a long history, a lot of obstacles and not there yet. Getting tired of the process .
People have two ways of achieving the result. Some apply with minimum to a lot of schools - it might be wise if you have a lot of money and free time, because it does take a lot of effort to apply to a lot of schools with all their demands and peculiar requests. Others prepare well and apply to selected schools only.
It makes sense to apply with minimum for now, to just test your chances. Who knows, you may get in
I wrote, that you have better chances with part 2, because competition is getting higher and a lot of people have pretty much the same qualifications. Part 2 is difficult, so less people passed it. I found the most difficult the length of the first day - 7 hours. Get dental decks and Mosby. A lot of perio and endo, not much surgery and ortho, but you still need to know the basic stuff
