MCAT: will be taking new 2015 MCAT.

ECs
Research: ~1100 hours 0ver 3.5 years. Co-presented poster at national conference, two posters at undergrad conference.
Clinical Volunteering: 300 hours over 2.5 years. 100% patient contact.
Shadowing: 100 hours spread over 4 specialties.
Non-clinical volunteering: ~300 hours as a counselor at a summer camp for 4 years.

If I apply to 20 schools, what are my chances at getting at least a couple acceptance? The BCPM gpa is extremely worrying. I know it will largely be dependent on the MCAT, but...

Pending your mcat I think you have a decent shot.

Concur. MSAR Online is your friend. Apply strategically and realistically.

I am taking the new MCAT which throws things off a bit, but lets say I score average or a tiny bit below average (say a 30-32 on the current scale). Would this be enough, or would it need to be above average for a couple of allopathic acceptances out of 20 applications?

If you get the equivalent of close to average, there are plenty of schools that you'll be competitive for!
