I have a BCP: 3.52 GPA and a Overall GPA of 3.49. I took my DAT score yesterday and got a 22 TS and 22 AA.

I live in NJ and I need to get out of here. My dream is to go to california and I was wondering what my chances are at UCLA, UCSF, U of Pacific, and USC. I'm also applying to Michigan and Maryland.

I would say that your chances at UOP and USC are higher than UCLA and UCSF (considering your are OOS for the latter two).

Your GPA is below average for UCLA and UCSF and your DAT is right at their average (for all accepted... meaning, a majority in-state). So, typically an OOS applicant would have to have higher stats all around to gain acceptance to these two schools.

I would bet that you receive an interview from USC and UOP though.

:luck:

I think you have a great shot being an OOS student, but I would suggest you look at schools in other states in addition to the CA you have listed - typically they're not OOS friendly. Check out Louisville, Kentucky, WVU, and Creighton.

From my understanding UK is not OOS friendly. Louisville yes but not UK

They do take a large number of OOS especially in comparison to other state schools. I interviewed there last cycle and they were taking roughly 15 OOS and this year will be even more due to a big increase in class size.
