So I got rejected from all of the schools I applied to this year. I'm thinking of re-applying during the upcoming cycle. During this past year, I kept my research job (worked part time), took about 32 quarter units worth of post bacc classes (all science classes) and have a post bacc GPA of 3.8, and I continued interning at my dental office. I'm planning to retake the DATs in the end of May or early June. I'm also applying to some special master's programs and traditional master's programs for this upcoming year, I'll be enrolled in one during the upcoming cycle. Here were my stats from this past cycle:

Overall GPA: 3.11
Science GPA: 2.96
DAT: AA 20
TS 20
Bio 19
Ochem 22
Gchem 19
PAT 19
Reading Comp 21
QR 17
Over 3 years of dental shadowing/interning hours
other extra curriculars as well

Do you guys think I might have a chance of getting in if i re-apply with my new application. Or should I wait until after I finish my special master's program to apply in May 2010?

I'll probably be applying to at least 15 schools (most likely more)

Competition seems to be more brutal every year. Its hard this year, doesn't seem like it will be any easier, and may be worse the following.
