Chances for USC?

Hey so i am a first time applicant and I went to a CC for two years then transferred to UCLA as a psychology major. I finished UCLA with a total overall GPA: 3.55 and Science: 3.66

I took my DAT once last MAY and was thinking about retaking it but i wanted some other opinions. Here are my STATS

OCHEM:20
GCHEM:16
BIO: 17
TS: 18
QR: 21
R:18
PAT:21
AA:18

I interviewed at WESTERN U and have an interview at MWU.

I started to do Research this year and im taking an Anatomy class at a CC this Spring.

I really want to get into USC.

Do you guys think i have a chance for USC or should i retake my DAT and hope to get accepted as a reaplicant next year.

I would retake it. Your gc and bio are pretty low.

i think you'll be fine..USC is one of the easier schools to get in...but some schools are increasingly looking at DAT scores (need a min of 17 across all sections or something) not sure about USC

is the 3.55 your UC GPA or your Cumulative?

your only bad score is Gchem really....and USC says as long as you have scores over 15 you will be considered by them... no need to take it again

The 3.55 is my overall GPA for all 4 years of undergrad and the 3.66 is my science GPA (BCP).

Yea my only really bad score is the gchem which was my best subject on practice tests which is really weird. I called USC and they said that if i havent gotten rejected yet then my chances of getting an interview is really good. So im just waiting and praying for now.

I interviewed at WESTERN U as well. Do you guys think i have a chance of getting into WESTERN U as well?

I don't think many people got rejected yet. They notify everyone pretty late.

lol hopefully you should be able to get in with those stats,
bc my gpa is a little lower than yours, but dat is higher lol

Hey ZinZin can you tell me about psych at UCLA. I have a friend who is going to transfer there as a psych major and i was considering it for a while but got mixed reviews.
