Hey people, i was hoping i can get some opinions on my chances of getting accepted to UMDNJ.

DAT scores.
22 AA
24 TS
21 PAT
no sections below a 18

GPAs.
cGPA 3.65
sGPA 3.67

My biggest concern is that i am a NY resident, i dont know how much that can or can't hurt me.

But students from NJ still have a better shot than kids from NY correct?

When I went in for interview, the majority of interviewees, about 20/25, were from NJ. However, you have a better DAT then I did, and your GPA is just below mine (3.75c/3.6s). I received an acceptance Dec. 1st, and I am from AZ. Thing about applying to Dental Schools is it feels random at times. Some people may be denied an interview even when their stats are good, and the sad part is you will likely not ever find out why. You are never guaranteed anything, but you do have a chance! Good Luck the best thing you can do is rock the interview if you receive one.

Yes, but the odds are in your favor in terms of OOS interview rates.

They have a great program and I was really impressed on my interview day. I got an invite around August last year (NY resident). I was 3ish batch. Good luck!
