I am currently a sophomore and have decided to apply to pharmacy school this coming summer (entrance for Fall 2006). I am still currently taking the pre-reqs, but I will have all of them done before the Fall 2006 school year begins. I am planning to apply to schools that do not require the PCAT, because I am not taking Organic Chemistry until next semester and won't have it completed in time for me to get a decent score on the PCAT. I currently have a 3.5 gpa (thanks to my freshman year and business classes), but I have an A in BIO 1, and I'm currently getting high A's in Chm. II and Calc. I am planning on transferring over my AP Chemistry score to take the place of Chm. I because of the A that I'm currently getting in the course. I currently have no pharmacy experience, although I applied for a job as a Pharmacy Technician and have not heard anything thus far. I am going to try and become certified as a pharm tech, though, if the board will allow me to register to take the exam. My friends and I are also planning on starting a pre-pharm club at our college next semester. We're still trying to get the paperwork done for that, and are trying to recruit more members. What do you think my chances are of getting in? I'm still planning on applying, but I was just curious as to what everyone else thought of my chances of getting accepted. Thanks!
