I recently decided to pursue PT and I'm having a bit of anxiety about my chances of getting in. This year I am only going to apply to one school and the application opens May 1st. I graduated in three years from my undergrad institution so I'm taking my time by going back and getting pre-reqs for PT. Currently, I'm working at a chiropractic office and I've learned a lot of valuable skills (like administering orthopedic tests, developing x-rays, transcribing exams). So here are my stats:
GPA: 3.95
Major: Psychology, Classical Humanities
Pre-Req (so far): 4.0
Last 60 Hours: 4.0
GRE: 1050
Volunteer Hours: 200 in two outpatient clinics
I also worked in two psych research labs (autism, personality dynamics) during my undergrad while working, taking classes, and volunteering with a anti-drunk driving organization.
Any suggestions about anything else I can do to buff things up? I really appreciate any advice. Thanks!
