Hi everyone,
I'm applying this year for pharmacy schools.
My cumulative GPA is about 3.79, I got As for most of my pre-req classes, 1 B in Ochem 2, A- in Biochem, no Cs and Ds at all, major in Biochemistry and i'll graduate in May 2016. Member of Alphi Chi Honor Society.
I had done 3 months shadowing a pharmacist but i forgot to put on my Pharmcas app 🙁, will begin my volunteer at a regional hospital in October.
I also had a chemistry research, which abstract is accepted to present at a conference in Nov. Does it count as a publication??
Also, I am a teaching assistant for Ochem and Physics at my university.
I applied to UOP, Loma Linda, and Pacific Oregon, and maybe Northstate as well. I submitted my application on 9/24, which was a little late because I have to wait for my residence application (I was an international student). But it wasnt approved at the time, so I applied on Pharmcas and UOP as international student.
I believe that at UOP, as long as I submit my application by 10/1,they would consider me as Tier 2. UOP is my first choice now. I'm worried because I dont know if I have chance to get into UOP or not.
Btw, another question, Can i use the same essay I wrote for one school to another school if they have similar prompt?
Anthing thoughts are appreciated

I wouldn't think you would have a problem with your background but UOP is $71,000/year (tuition and fees). I'm not sure how set you are financially but that is a total of almost $300,000. That is insanity. That is basically a mortgage.
With youre background, you could go to a state school out of state for cheaper.

go research on startclass.com they have rankings, cost, NAPLEX pass rates, etc

what undergrad did you go to (if you dont mind) why don't you apply to some more school (university of nevada in henderson )

you can use one answer for different prompts as long as you change the school name. Nothing unethical with that.

you don't have to answer if you don't want to but are you a CA resident now after your residence app (i guess you are) because............you gotta go thru other craps such as work visa later to work at pharmacy big chains and I heard they had to pay for work permit or something to hire international on visas.

I'm going to a small baptit school in riverside. Yes I got my residency now, I don't think I have to go through that craps
