Hey all. Just trying to gauge whether I should retake the MCAT at the end of this upcoming spring. Not trying to gun for top heavy schools. Mid-tier schools are fine for me.

MCAT: 30 (11,8,11)
cGPA: 3.92, sGPA:3.97

ECs (by the time I graduate)
-One year of research (1 pub)
-2+ years of volunteering at hospital
-Volunteering at food pantry
-Schools of Hope tutor for under-priveleged children
-Tutoring for Bio, OChem
- Approx. 40-50 hrs of shadowing

I know I lack the "leadership" aspect, but I'm not really sure what to do about it.

Thanks for your input.

1) If you're still aiming for NorthwesternU, considering how well you did on practice tests previously, a retake and higher score would help. The decision might also depend on your home state and how selective its public schools are.

2) Train or manage others at the hospital, lab, or tutoring organization. Take on an organizational role at the food pantry.
