You are competitive for any DO school with your current MCAT so you do not need to retake it. The time to apply is now and submit all your secondaries by September. Apply broadly to at least 10 schools and you should receive several interviews. You have LECOM and PCOM in PA but also consider applying to schools such as MU-COM, WVSOM and UP-KYCOM.

You are falling into the trap of hurrying a retake thinking you will do better "because it's all on my mind". Knowledge and MCAT taking skill decrease significantly in that month you are waiting for your score, even if you don't think it. Your score is fine, do not retake. I repeat, do not retake and just get your app in soon, like tomorrow. You should get a number of interviews.

DO NOT RETAKE!!! A 506 is fine for DO and most state schools. You chance going down considerably.
