MD & DO chances & school list

I just got my MCAT score today, so I finally know where I stand. I'm applying this cycle. I'm wondering how I look and if I need to apply to more schools (and if so, what schools I should look into). So here is my information and the schools I am applying to.

MCAT 513 - 127/128/130/128
GPA (AACOMAS): 3.5s/3.5c
(AMCAS): 3.3s/3.1c

Without getting into it, good extracurriculars.

I'm applying to most of my state (Florida) MD schools: FIU, FAU, USF, UCF, UF
and these DO schools: Nova, LECOM Bradenton, Georgia PCOM, Kansas City University

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Have you submitted your primaries? Have you pre written the secondaries? Your GPAs are fine for DO but low for MD. And it is really late to be applying. Nice MCAT.

Yes, I submitted primaries months ago. Most of the schools let me submit secondaries before getting my MCAT score, so they are mostly done. It is late, but I figure at worst I lose out on some money and apply early next cycle. I'm thinking that I need to add more DO schools, but looking for some input from y'all. My transcript is weird. All of the bad stuff is at junior college. I have a 3.9 at my 4-year university over 72 credits. I hope that gets looked.

Apply more broadly to DO schools. The cGPA will clobber you for KCUMB, CUSOM, the coastal Touros, CCOM and I think BCOM as well. I can't recommend LUCOM.

IF you had a stellar rising trend, you may have some luck with a few of the FL MD schools, but keep in mind that even some of the newest ones have sky high median GPAs.

Whoa! My mistake an apologies, OP! I mixed up the 3.5 AACOMAS with the 3.1 AMCAS. OP is fine for ANY DO school!!! Kudos to Cardbord for his/her eagle eye too.
