Hi guys I just wanted to post this after I got my final gpas etc and wanted some realistic advice. Do I have a good shot? My breakdown is 9 bio 10 ps 10 verbal for my MCAT. My sGPA is low because I did very poorly during my freshman year but it has shot up afterwards. I go to a large state school in Michigan and I think I have very good extracurriculars with leadership. Thanks for any advice

You don't have a "good shot" for MD acceptance, DO yes. Your mcat is below average for almost every MD school but your gpa will hurt you the most. Can you elaborate on your ECs, research, and what schools you want to apply to?

Retake the MCAT. Remember, there isn't any rush to get into medical school, if this is truly what you want to do.
