Could anyone comment on my chances at admission for DO schools this cycle with these stats?
cGPA:3.5 sGPA:3.5 MCAT:29M

ECs:
1)Currently employed as patient accounts rep in billing office (1 year)
2)Volunteer assistant baseball coach at middle school for 3 years and currently in 4th year as volunteer with american legion summer baseball (~500 hours)
3)Shadowing: hospital internist, ER doc, neurologist, orthopaedic surgeon and family practice DO (50 hrs and only half day with DO!)
4)Volunteer at local mental hospital in recreation department once a week for 6 months and in the hospital's clinic for 2 months (40 hrs)
5)Minor leadership positions in fraternity: scholarship chair and served on judicial board

I am more concerned with my ECs. Can someone comment on my chances with respect to DO schools? I am a Virginia resident. Thanks in advance!

Stats-wise, you're in fine shape. EC-wise, your nonmedical community service is terrific, and you have leadership. Your clinical experience is pretty weak, though. How many total shadowing hours do you have? Can you beef up the hours with more DO shadowing quickly (and get a DO LOR)? Could you continue to gain clinic hours through the application cycle and let schools know about it via update letters? I think that would improve your odds considerably.

Thank you for your help!

I say increase the medical volunteering or the shadowing by a few hours. You should be fine for an Osteopathic acceptance otherwise.
