I'm applying July. I have a 3.5 cumulative and science GPA. DAT: 19AA/20TS/16PA. I have good extracurriculars, leadership, and shadowing. A good PS and LORS. What are my chances given the PAT section of my DAT? Do I need to retake? No other section is below 18.

PAT section seems a little too low in my opinion. If and when you do get a chance, try to retake for a higher score. It will dramatically increase your chances at all schools. Your GPA is fine.

I would say go ahead and retake it, but I know how aggravating retaking the DAT is, the one piece of advice I have to offer is if you decide to apply with those scores, apply broadly. 👍👍

Apply broadly. I'd highly recommend a retake. A 16 is generally looked down upon. Call up the admissions office at some of the schools youre interested in and see what they say about it.
