I just submitted my applications to 7 schools.

My gpa is 3.46overall and 3.25 science
DAT scores were 18AA 21PAT and 17TS

Have excellent letters, volunteered at local dental school as an assistant for a year, as well as research at local hospital for a couple months now. Lots of extracurriculars and 2 mission trips to Haiti as a part of dental team.

Wondering what my chances are?

I would have to disagree with this. Definitely not pretty good, even at best its a decent. Sorry :S The 17TS and 3.25 stood out to me the most

Depends on which schools you applied to, your state residency, and if you're URM...

Agreed. Retake the DAT and raise the TS. He should have a decent shot.

It's always tough to tell what will happen, but I definitely think chancing with only 7 schools is too few with those stats. If you're dead set on getting in this cycle that is

Yes. But make sure you study well and are fully prepared to do better this time. It would look bad if you do worse. Good luck!

I agree, retake the DAT. Your scores are too low with that GPA. What are your individual breakdowns for each subject area?

7 schools with your stats? You might should reconsider retaking your DAT and adding 15 more schools.
Ideally, you want to have at least 25 schools total with your GPA and DAT.
