You will need to check with each school to see if they accept DACA applicants.
Submit all your secondaries by mid September.

Thank you for the very prompt reply. Based on my research, there are a few places that you mentioned that state that they don't accept DACA applicants. However, I did have a few questions.
There are some out-of-state schools (like in Florida, Indiana, Michigan and Virginia) on that list that I don't really have ties to. Are those schools out of state friendly? Also, I was thinking about staying in New York. Do you think Cornell would be a reasonable addition to my list or do you think I would be wasting my time (I won't say donation since I probably won't be paying an application fee lol)?

Have you ever given DO schools a consideration? Your stats are definitely going to at least give you an II but you are, as you know, somewhat late to the game already. DO schools have their deadlines set further back than MD schools and yes they are relatively "easier" to get into. But at the end of the day you are still a doctor.

Indiana is looking for OOS URM applicants. The other schools also admit a significant number of non residents.

Thanks for letting me know about the out-of-state schools. I'll have to look into them and which ones accept DACA recipients.

I have thought about DO schools. I was thinking about waiting for next cycle in case I don't get into an MD program. Also, there haven't been too many resources available to determine which DO schools accept DACA recipients. The MD schools have that info on the AAMC MSAR. Overall, I haven't done much research.

Should I consider those schools though? And if so, should I get my MD secondaries done before working on the DO primary? I haven't really had any DO shadowing or clinical experience. Would this be a problem?

You do not need a DO LOR at most DO schools. If you have not received more than one interview by November then submit your application to DO schools that accept applications from DACA applicants. You may need to call each school to see what their policy is.
