I was wondering what my chances are of getting into DMU. My gpa is only 3.3 and my MCAT was only a 25. I realize that these are somewhat low, but my EC activities are pretty good. I am an athlete and have done some DO shadowing, etc. I hope these can kind of offset my lower gpa and MCAT numbers. Thanks

Well, there are some details to be worked out. What sport did you play and how well did you do? How are your science and non-science GPA's? How has your GPA trend been in college? My GPA and MCAT's were just a bit higher but my GPA during my last 2 years of college was very high. Depending on your situation your chances can be very good if you applied early enough.

Some more info: Well I have applied and I play baseball at Creighton Univ. I will be a 4 yr starter this year. My grades have steadily gone up each year. I have done many various community service projects through baseball and have also shadowed a DO and some other MDs.
