Hi Im a student at U of Toronto 3rd year coming fall.

I have a very low GPA, around low3.0 , havent taken DAT yet but

planning this nov. Will I have any chances with that low of a gpa

with a fair DAT score? around 18-20? or higher?

And also how important is job shadowing? I've been doing it for a year

and Im not sure if i should change my office or just keep going to the same one? Thx!!

Taking your DAT in November is extremely late if you plan on applying this upcoming year. I think as long as you have 40 hours of shadowing you are good, the more the better of course.

Are you taking the Canadian DAT? Unfortunately your GPA is too low for Canadian Dentistry schools. Since you are going to have to focus your efforts on applying to American Dental schools, I would suggest taking the American DAT instead (which you can take virtually any day), so that way you can have your application complete earlier. November is way to late to be considered for this cycle.
