Hi, everyone. This is my first time posting, but I'm very curious to hear some feedback about my chances for podiatry school acceptance.

Background: Graduated from a top 20 undergrad with a double major (science and non science). Had some problems early on with science classes (GPA=3.2 Overall 2.75 Science/Math). Decided on grad school and entered an MPH program (3.9 GPA), which I will finish next semester. I have 2 publications, research experience, and healthcare related volunteer experience. MCAT was a 27. I still need to shadow a pod, but am already emailing with one about setting that up.

Will pod schools care about my MPH? Will my grad GPA be averaged in with my under grad (would become 3.37 overall, 3.09 science) Do I have any chance of pulling off an acceptance?

Thanks so much!

It couldn't hurt to apply. I say go for it 👍 Just make sure podiatry is something that you want to do. I don't know about the GPA being averaged...

I think that you have a good chance of getting an acceptance. Your MCAT is competetive, and your GPA is not that far off most of the median GPA's. There are several prominent podiatrists that have their MPH and are involved in public policy discussions. Play up your MPH experience in your personal statement and interview, and you could make it a big bonus!👍

Hi everyone. I have a cumulative gpa of 2.75 and MCAT score of 20. bio - 7, verbal - 7, and phyical sciences 6. I know my gpa is low (I am retaking a few courses and should bring it up to around a 3.0 by spring 2010) and MCAT score isnt that great but I have a decent amount of volunteering. what are my chances of getting into any podiatry school for 2010 with my current gpa and MCAT?

Jus got my mcat results, first time writing and I scored a 22O...is that a competitive enough score?
