Hey guys,
I am currently doing my 5th year undergrad at McMaster, Canada. I applied to 19 schools this year, and havent got an interview. My original DAT score was 21 aa, 22 pat, 23 ts and I had a low gpa of 3.1. I worked my socks off last semester, took 6 courses and managed a 3.9. I also retook the DAT and managed to get 23 aa 23 pat 23 ts on feb 1st, the day of the update. I submitted it that day lol.
I am taking another 6 courses now to boost the gpa as much as possible. I was wondering that, even though it is extremely late in the cycle, whether the academic update would significantly improve my chances for just ONE interview. My top choices are western, uofp, USC, columbia and I havent got a reply from them yet. How important is the academic update anyway, since 98% of acceptances are already out and barely any schools are interviewing. Any advice on how I can make this happen this year!?
