How'd the interviews go? Scholl has a minimum of 22 I believe. Not sure about Temple. Scholl says that tests taken after May 26 won't be considered for the same year - http://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/dnn...SCPM/TestRequirements/tabid/1713/Default.aspx

Shouldn't the schools receive your scores? I mean, I'm not sure about when they get them. Maybe contact them and talk to them, and they might give you an expedited decision on your application? Idk.

How did you prepare for the MCAT? Maybe think about how you can do better on the MCAT, and take it again in late May. There's quite a few options that I'm aware of to help your score. Exam Kracker books, Princeton online, Kaplan online (pricey), though these would be rigorous in that amount of time. Kaplan has a few courses that are starting this week and next week that go till May.

You need to call the schools before they receive your MCAT and talk to them about your score. They will likely reject you outright if you do not call them ahead of time and tell them you will retake it before they get your scores.

Study harder for that beast!

can we please stop perpetuating the myths of "the minimum is 22 at school X."

Just to clarify, Scholl said that they wouldn't accept an april MCAT when you called? jw because I'm looking to schedule an exam as well.

so basically i will need to plan and take the mcat in april if i want to go to scholl or temple?

i called and they said that the review committee needs to have official scores and then meet up to review my file but that won't happen for another week?

temple said that it could go either way and scholl didn't say anything besides hold off on registering for the april mcat.

i just wish they could tell me i have no chance so i can just go ahead and plan on taking the mcat again ya know??

but maybe i have a chance? probably not?

There is no way in hell anyone with a sub 20 MCAT score is getting in Scholl. I don't care what you say. Podiatry admissions are quite variable but I know admissions would not allow a 17 MCAT and just over a 3.0 gpa to walk through the doors.

Pod89 you need to def take the MCAT over again to get accepted to Scholl. If your heart is set on Temple then you could always take the GRE and use that score to apply as well.

I never said anything about the 17, just that "22" is not the magical number
