Hi everyone,
My GPA is a 3.5 and I have a 20 MCAT (5VR,7PS,8BS). I have volunteered in a hospital for one year and have lots of non-medical volunteering. I'll shadow a podiatrist and am going to apply next year. What are my chances at podiatric medical schools?
Thanks

Sounds like you'll be fine. You should be able to get a few interviews. Good luck!

Good gpa, below avg mcat score but still acceptable. If it wouldn't kill you to do it, I would devote a good month to studying for the mcat and retaking it. If you want to up your verbal, may i suggest reading articles from scientific america -- a lot of literature excerpts are taken from that. And besides, it can only help you. Gets yourself in gear, and increase chances of landing scholarships (which are offered to 1st year applicants automatically)
