Man these "chances" discussions are so hard because there are SOOO many factors that come in to play for medschool admissions. I could go on about how you have a good MCAT, solid science GPA etc, but you still need to blow your interviewers and the adcoms away. You need to bring something unique and special to the table, stand out! Not just another "I wanna help people", but what aspects of your life influenced you specifically? Talk about that in your personal statement. I feel that if we say you have "good" or "bad" chances, we would be making assumptions about the other (crucial) aspects of your application. I didn't come into this process thinking about "odds". All I was thinking about was my dream 🙂 Just as your SDN name says, it's about will and drive. Just go for it!
What year are you anyway? Do you have time to improve your overall GPA and beef up your ECs?
