i'd put in my app that i was planning on taking physics II in the fall since that's the only prereq i hadn't taken yet. but i got to looking for a job, and when it looked like i was going to get a night job and i'd originally thought i'd work 9-5 and take class at night, i ended up not taking physics this semester and am postponing it till the spring. is this something i'm supposed to notify schools about? or can i just mention it at interviews?

yea you really should notify the school about the situation because im pretty sure many dental schools require phys as a prereq. Talk to them about it and come up with a plan because most schools will not even look at your application or even worse throws it out entirely so get it done as soon as possible

as long as you finish your pre-req i think you will be fine, but u should probably mention it. plus when you do academic update they will see it then also.

Don't even mention it in interviews IMO.

The only things that matter is that you get your bachelors and finish the d-school's prereqs.
Schools will never revoke an acceptance because you didn't take X class (unless its a prereq) or do X job.

yeah sorry i should have been clearer. i graduated in may, took physics I this summer and planned to take II in the fall. but i needed a job more importantly because i have to start paying loans back in november! but not that i have my job and i can get all settled in i'm definitely going to be taking it in the spring semester.

I think you should call. For UCSF and LLU when I had to put all planned coursework for the rest of the year, I asked them if it was ok it there were some changes (since I don't know EXACTLY what I'll take spring and winter) and they said to let them know if the change was a prereq class. Or you could just call the schools and ask if you need to notify them if there's a change to when you'll take the course.
