Is there a policy for updating schools regarding a change in Fall courses? For example, I put my Fall schedule on my AMCAS application, and I am currently thinking of dropping a course and taking it in the Spring. I don't think it is necessary to email all the schools to which I applied and tell them this at the moment, but at what point in my application cycle should I mention the change?

*Edit* Alternatively I might designate this course as Pass/Fail this semester. Though it is an upper level Bio class, I don't need it to fulfill any med school requirements.

I am also curious about this. With how hectic my interviewing schedule is, I think it might be wise to move a tougher course to the spring. What are we expected to do in this situation?

Oh yay! Was wondering if you would join me here 🙂

I believe "future courses" on the AMCAS aren't binding. Unless the course is a pre-req that needs completion by January, I wouldn't worry about updating schools.
